Use Waze or Google Maps for Navigation

Use Waze or Google Maps for Navigation

Smooth navigating is one of the key ingredients of a 5-star ride. That’s
why we strongly recommend using Waze or Google Maps: Each uses real-time
traffic information, ensuring you’re always taking the best route.

Garmin has some good navigation, but it is so seamless to use Google Maps so that is my preference.

Google Maps includes Waze data.  Waze is good if you want to report stuff, but I don't do that while driving.

I would say that Google Maps is by far the best navigating app to use. Especially as a Driver for any of these ride sharing companies. I use it all for delivery driver jobs I've done. Like mentioned above, Google Maps uses WAZE information. It's always up to dater with traffic and help boost your rating by helping the customer get to their destination faster and smoother. Also, it allows you to move quick and get to your next ride.

Well I think I am in the minority on this one because I use an app called Scout.  I used to use Google Maps but then I started to have issues with it and it stopped working all together, so I made the switch, and I have not looked back.  In the defense of Google Maps, I think that it was more of an issue my phone than the program, but either way, it seemed to work out.

I've used both google maps and waze, right now on Lyft I have it set to Waze, and Google maps set in Uber.  Waze is pretty good, but if you take a different route then Waze wants you to go, it will make a loud annoying sound.  I think google maps is a little bit better for just navigation...
